Welcome to the blog of saturdaycartoons. Here will be a sometimes (non- daily) account of some compelling content around the subject matter of art, music & pop culture...Lets start some blogging shall we?? How about everyone mentions their favorite saturday morning cartoon from their childhood (or recent childhood). I'll say The Wacky Racers (Mutly etc.) circa 1970

  1. My favorite Saturday morning cartoon... I loved Bugs Bunny. Eh, What's Up Doc?

  2. Scooby Doo!!! My two boys love it also - who would have thought that a 30 year old cartoon would entertain kids today.

  3. SMURFS!!! Gotta love those lil blue people. My Favorite was Smurfette of course...and I always wanted to have a chat with that Gargamel fellow and tell him to stop being a bully! ha ha

  4. She-Ra! I don't know if that's how you spell her name... but I think she was He-Man's wife or girlfriend. I remember going to a birthday party and She-Ra showed up! I also stashed her in my dresser drawer. She had a purple glitzy outfit... something you would probably see now on WWE and long blonde hair. She was also pretty muscular for a girl, but still had unattainable measurements for the average woman of today. All in all... I think She-Ra rocked... she was far away from the average Barbie doll and she carried a sword!
